I think one important thing to note is that adCenter's estimated impression and click forecasting system is severely broken, at least for the keywords that I see most often.  Laying out the groundwork for a campaign will often yield expected spend figures that are several magnitudes higher than actual traffic figures, and may be very frustrating in trying to establish a routine spend.  This is where a good analytics package can really help, as with all PPC campaigns, you really don't know what you're going to get until you try.</description>
