On Friday, December 7th, the Masters of Business Online Conference will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana. This exclusive event has been organized to educate marketers on how best to do business online. Through the course of this one-day event, attendees will be educated on interactive marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), website usability, email marketing and best of all: how to effectively put it all together.
The program is designed to educate, entertain, and inform. Lecturing on search engine marketing is none other than Pat East. Pat founded Hanapin Marketing (and PPC Hero!) after spending four years building and managing the author promotions and corporate marketing departments at AuthorHouse. After successfully utilizing the Internet to help extend AuthourHouse’s reach in their marketplace, with Google about to launch with their IPO and search marketing being talked about in nearly every industry and non-industry publication, Pat decided there was a potentially big opportunity ahead. So he created Hanapin to help other companies achieve similar growth using the Internet.
Pat graduated from Wabash College with a bachelor’s degree in English. He volunteers for the college as a class agent, helping to keep classmates connected to their alma mater through quarterly letters and reunions. He also sits on the advisory board for Rainmakers and the business development board for Irwin Union. He is also an adjunct professor at Indiana University in the School of Library and Information Science, one of only two known SEM curriculums at a large US university.
