From what I understand, these optimization tips can be used across the board. The internet has become about instant gratification. It is probably best to not be wordy on a page that is meant for converting a viewer into a client. A majority of organic searchers are looking for specific information and land on your home page. If they find it there as easily as they can find it on a PPC landing page then you have converted them to clicking through to another page.

Good points. Often people do get too comfortable with their own work and cannot see the forest for the trees. Everyone can have a different opinion on the look of a Landing page for optimization. I personally like the numbers to decide through testing. Using the Google Website Optimizer allows quick multi-variant testing in this area. On the last one, you'd be surprised from the number of marketers who I have read about that "ugly websites" or landing pages work better for them. This may only be true for information products. It's almost like if your website is too slick, your advice cannot be trusted. I'm not sure what that's all about

This is really nice post. I have one big question for it. If we can optimize our landing page for PPC so, can we do it for organic landing page or not? If yes so, will it work or not?
