I have to agree with David's comment... Not having the ability to set unique destination URLs on a keyword level is very frustrating.

GOOGLE... FIX THIS!

I've hit a brick wall with the new Adwords interface. I'm no longer able to enter in unique destination URLs per keyword into the new Adwords Interface such as the following:

Band of Brothers Audiobook ** (URL for this audiobook)
Molecules of Emotion Audiobook ** (URL for this audiobook)
Benjamin Franklin Audiobook ** (URL for this audiobook)
ETC.

So for each keyword it takes users to the adjoining destination URL (as opposed to the overall destination URL for the Ad Group). We used to be able to do this in the old interface and that is how we entered in almost all of our keywords. But with this new interface it says this is invalid for a keyword and I couldn't figure out how to do it in Adwords Editor either. And I can't access the old Adwords interface now. Grrr!

Our entire Adwords campaign was designed around entering in keywords with their destination URLs en masse like so:

Band of Brothers Audiobook ** (URL for this audiobook)
Molecules of Emotion Audiobook ** (URL for this audiobook)
Benjamin Franklin Audiobook ** (URL for this audiobook)
ETC.

We had created a whole script on our back end that auto-generates all the keywords and their corresponding destination URL. Why does Google remove functionality with the update of their Adwords interface? I thought the whole point of an update was to add and improve functionality? Grrr. Is there any other way to add keywords with their destination URLs en masse?

Here's Google Supports official answer to me.

"Thank you for your reply. I apologize for the delayed response and for the
frustration you have been experiencing. I'm sorry to let you know that
with the new interface, you will not able to upload in bulk keyword level
URLs with different destination URLs."

BOOO the New Adwords interface! It's worse than New Coke! We want Adwords Classic back! I'll update this if anything changes but for now BOOOOO! Isn't there anyone else out there that used this feature?! Why have you forsaken us Google?! Why must you prevent us from giving you advertising dollars?! BOOOOOOO!

So much better with the new features and I like the fact that it has a look and feel just like the Google Analytics package.

@Hiren
Yes, indeed... after many months planning it seems google have ommited the daily budget figure which was at the bottom of the old summary page.

Obviously not done accidentally either since all of these elements would have been planned in detail. The question of course is 'Why?'

Let me think... hmmm what do I use to work out how much I'm spending on Google as a general marker... Ohh that would be the 'daily budget readout'. It is after all the 'bottom line'

Without this I have to add up my campaign totals. In addition they have ensured that the field titles at the top of the summary stay where they are as I scroll...

Interesting move... a little on the cheeky side too... then again anyone who does not keep an eye on their spend deserves what they get.

I am overall happy with the new interface but i feel it's little slower in scrolling ... In addition, under campaign tab first we use to have total amount of daily budget which they have removed and now we have to calculate the total daily budget... I have already suggested AdWords team about the same ..as i think there are many many big accounts or agencies that are handling big projects that have lots of campaign and some time we just need to manage our daily budget by decreasing and increasing and that point of time we need to see whether we have not exceeded the amount.

@David, it does appear that they removed the option to search for your keywords - unless I'm missing it. I'll email my rep about it and at the least recommend they put that feature back in.Good Call!

Why can't I search for keywords by characters?
I don't want to just filter by metrics...

@amber: Thanks for the feedback! I can't believe I didn't see that. It still left in campaigns that had ended but I just paused those so they wouldn't show up. I know there are more filtering options. I just need to learn all of them.

@Suzanne, you can filter out paused and deleted campaigns by selecting the 'all, all enabled, or all but deleted' options off to the right of the campaigns tab where it says, 'show' like in the old interface. Also, I totally agree with you that they need revenue metrics in Adwords. That would be great. They do that in Yahoo, but for some reason you have to go back into Analytics to get that data for Google. I should make the recommendation to my reps!
