Hi Ellerton, I haven't tested using the registered symbol with the space. Mainly b/c I think it looks more funny with the space than to have to word bolded. But I have tested it several times without the space and in each ad group I have at least a 4% CTR. I will put in a test with the space for a week or two and see what happens!

In retrospect, I have put this comment in the wrong spot... but I can't delete or move it!

Going over one of the top blog posts -- I wanted to see if any one had tested the spacing of ® symbols on branded terms and its effect on Click Through?

For example, if you were to advertise for the brand Acme, your ad title might be "Acme® Widgets." However, if someone searches on "acme widgets" the brand name "Acme" will NOT be bolded in Google due to the registered trademark symbol immediately following the word "Acme." Alternatively, if your ad title is "Acme ® Widgets" it doesn't look quite right, but both "Acme" and "Widgets" would be bolded.
