@ Rob: That is a good question. I think you may want to revisit the shell template of your site. To a create a strong landing page for thousands of individual products, I think you should do some testing on the architecture of your site. Determine what what works best, and then plug each product into this template. You can test our variations for only a few products, determine what works, apply this frame to your site, and then upload each product into this template. It's an idea.

@ Phil: Thanks for the feedback. We do have a player right within the blog post so it should be playable rather easily. We'll make sure the player is loading correctly. Thanks!

Love your critiques, but wish there was an easier way to access the audio. I noticed the .zip files were not much smaller than the original .mp3. Why not just post the .mp3 so you could play it without having to download & unzip? Better yet incorporate a player right on the page or a link to a player page - more like youtube.

Joe,

Great post, the podcast's are really informative and a great idea!

I was wondering if you had any more suggestions for companies creating landing pages with thousands of products for sale? Obviously this would be difficult to create a landing page for each particular product but there must be a way make sure your landing pages stay along best practices no matter how many products you sell.

Thanks Joe!
