@ Michelle, I agree. Not sure why Yahoo is so far behind google in terms of free tools like adwords editor. Even MSN has an editor tool! : )

Just hope you aren’t using Office 2008 or you will never get the file type to be recognized by Yahoo’s import engine, no matter how you save it. I have been forced to email my campaign to my account manager and have them figure it out. They have started fussing about it but when I tell them that I don’t recommend yahoo to my clients because it is so difficult to use their tools they suddenly figure out a way to get it imported…

So sad, a tool like AdWords Editor would do them a world of good.

Yahoo company is very greedy. The more you pay, the more your ad will show and be at the top. Thats it. Thats why i hate it….

I spoke to Yahoo the other day and they told me that they only give users that spend $5,000 within a three month period that import option.

That’s crazy!

Can anyone comment on this?

Hi Daniel, when you first open a new yahoo account, for some strange reason they don’t include the import feature until your account is open for a while. All you have to do is contact your yahoo rep and ask them to add the import feature for you.

Well, this tip would be EXCELLENT except that i have no import link below my tabs. I have Campaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords, Editorial Status, and Search.

If you know where this link has been moved to, I will definitely use it to import my Google PPC campaigns into Yahoo.
