Responsibilities

1) Supports the day-to-day operations of the marketing department

2) Comfortable with handling sensitive information as well as working in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects

3) In coordination with the finance team, maintain marketing budget tracker with a high level of attention to detail, making sure that media invoices are requested and collected from publications and vendors in a timely manner and fees are allocated correctly to appropriate accounts

4) Help organize subscription-based marketing tools, media contracts, and insertion orders

5) Help maintain assets on the web and CRM tools, making sure that essential information such as application deadlines and FAQs are always kept updated

6) Assist in developing email content and coordination of Slate emails

7) Assist in transferring outsourced lead data into Slate

8) Coordinate event materials and UChicago swag

9) Help the team gather marketing assets by attending events

10) Responsible for placing orders for marketing materials

11) Perform administrative tasks

8) Willingness to learn new marketing and project management tools

9) Advertising agency and/or higher education marketing experience


Preferred Qualifications

Education

1) Bachelor’s degre in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field


Experience

1) Minimum of 2 years related experience
