The page views have spoken! Below we have gathered PPC Hero’s four most visited, and hopefully most valuable articles from November. Whether you’re a new or long-time subscriber, you may have missed these insightful and helpful PPC management tips.

This November, Jen’s insightful article on creating targeted ads in Facebook landed itself in first place, and for good reason!  By now, Facebook’s giant online status and growing advertising importance is common knowledge; however, Jen’s article takes us one step further by providing a clear, concise how-to on setting up your first Facebook ad campaign.  Jen explains the tools and metrics unique to Facebook, while also highlighting how to take advantage of its powerful social network capabilities.  Following her advice is sure to save Facebook advertisers both time and frustration.

In second place is Rob’s article on driving low cost PPC traffic without Google and MSN.  After a client presented a lofty goal of quickly increasing clicks without raising its very low max CPC bids, Rob got creative and switched from Google to three smaller search platforms: Fox Network MyAds, 7Search, and AdBrite.  His article breaks down these third-tier engines, while also explaining how he used each to drive a high number of targeted clicks without blowing the budget.  This article is a great reminder that, yes, there is an advertising world outside of Google, and that it might be more profitable than you think!

Have you used Excel to track your month-to-month account performance?  If you haven’t – or are looking for a new approach – Amy’s third-place article on analyzing your PPC account is definitely worth your time.  Amy breaks down not only how to pull well-organized reports, but how to use the VLookup tool to make Excel do the hard work for you.  By being able to quickly see what has changed (and by how much), you can assess whether your account is meeting your goals, what areas specifically need improvement, and what techniques and trends have worked in past month.  This one’s definitely a time saver!

Completing this month’s greatest hits is Erin’s helpful article on using Microsoft advertising intelligence for keyword expansion.  If you’re squeamish about MSN/Bing, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and start using AdCenter, for as Erin shows us, its Microsoft Advertising Intelligence tool is well worth your time.  The Advertising Intelligence tool lets you generate lists of keywords (from both in your account and those suggested by MSN), and then uses pivot tables and filters to let you quickly sort and understand the information.  With Erin walking you through it step-by-step, there’s never been a better time to dive into AdCenter.
