Question:
My campaign has been up for three days with payment information submitted but i have received 0 impressions and 0 clicks. My ads aren’t showing!?!
When I click on the magnifying glass for certain keywords, the quality score is good (8/10). For one keyword, it says this keyword is not triggering our ad because the daily budget has already been exhausted. How can that be? Please help me!
PPC Hero Answer:
AdWords can sometimes be a bit tricky! It sounds like you have one of four problems with your account:
1. Sometimes it will take Google a couple of days to approve your keywords and ad text. When you submit your campaign, you are added into a queue and it can take Google awhile to review and approve. If it has been more than 5 days, contact your Google rep to see if your keywords have been approved. Here is a related post about reasons why your ads aren’t showing in Google.
2. Check the daily budget for each campaign and confirm they are set above $0. Your ads will not run if you have no dedicated daily budgets to each campaign.
3. Review your billing information to confirm your billing information is correct (credit card number, expiration, address, etc.). If Google has any issue with your billings, they do not run your ads.
4. If daily budgets have been set for each campaign, you might have the keyword bids set too high for your budget. If this is the case, just lower bids and increase your daily budget. Read this post for more details on setting daily budgets for a campaign.
