PPC Hero Launches New Site!

By Jamie Newton | @jnewton09 | Communications Manager at Hanapin Marketing

PPC Hero launched for the first time on March 12, 2007. Yes, that means that PPC Hero has been guiding and offering up tips and strategies on paid search, social, display, programmatic and more for almost a decade We’ve been honored to have the likes of Larry Kim, John Lee, Joe Kerschbaum, Brad Geddes and Fred Vallaeys, as well as both past and current team members of Hanapin, post quality and engaging content on PPC Hero. For those that have been with us since the beginning and to our current readers, thank you!

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of a brand new PPC Hero! We’ve redesigned the site to be more search friendly with a better navigation system and more opportunity to find the right resources quicker.  Here’s a quick view into things we changed:

  • The site is mobile first to keep up with the ever-changing tech industry.
  • The sidebar on all posts has been removed, so you can focus more on the content.
  • We switched from a magazine-style format to a linear continuous scroll for easier reading and browsing.

Screen Shot 2016-07-18 at 10.24.35 AMWe’ve also added some elements that are both fun and useful, like videos (did you see the header??) and our new “Trending” option. You’ll find the navigation bar in the left at the top now. You’ll find a number of things to choose from, including the Latest posts, trending posts, topics, resources, upcoming webinars, events, and of course the standard pages of who we are and how to get a hold of us.

With the new Trending option, you’ll be able to see the most viewed posts from the last 90 days. You can see the latest articles published by clicking “Latest,” just like you did on our last site.

Some other nice features include a PPC Resources section, where you can find all of our latest whitepapers, reports, webinars, toolkits, and past flash webinars. There’s even an upcoming webinars page now!

Once you get done reading an article, you can keep on scrolling to see more of the latest posts, making it super easy for you to keep reading and learning new things.

Our team is really excited to bring you this new PPC Hero and we hope it makes your experience on our site more friendly and more engaging.

We’d love to get your feedback!
