One thing that we can all agree upon is that landing pages are an integral part of managing effective pay-per-click accounts. Where that agreement begins to falter is when we begin discussing how individual elements of our landing pages contribute to higher conversion rates.

We had some awesome success with changing around the colors of our “Free Trial” buttons. Initially they were blue, and were super hard to see. We then went for a red Free trial button and did a two week controlled test. With the new Yellow color, we have seen almost 50% more traffic come through that link!
Lesson is not to assume certain colors will always work. Turns out the popped out red was barely even clicked. We now test colors for everything, and we run color tests in ouruser testing and even anylitics.

The offer is also important. The more attractive the offer, the higher the Conversion rate.
