    Although I do love pivot tables, I felt that the theme creation process really needed more details. I just don’t see why themes would be different than Ad Groups.

    Other than that, thanks for the quick demonstration.

    Appreciate the kind words. It’s truly amazing how powerful PivotTables can be.

    When coming up with “themes”, I like to try and identify a handful of recurring keyword qualifiers when reviewing my search query data. This can be particularly effective when dealing with broad match keywords and their matched queries that often lack relevance to your product or service.

    For example, let’s say you notice a lot of queries containing “buy” and you’re interested in finding out if any of them are leading to sales. This could then be used as a theme for the process demonstrated in the video. Other possible themes could include “blog”, “reviews”, “compare”, “order”, etc.

    Of course, this process takes a bit of manual work on our end, but can be helpful in analyzing performance of queries containing those qualifiers (“themes”). Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
