About Amber

Profile: I always had an interest in the graphic arts and design, so I attended IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis, whew!) and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in New Media and a Certificate in Computer Science. Shortly before graduation, I was accepted into the Walt Disney World intern program and for 5 months I spent time in Orlando Florida working the parks to get qualified to work in an advanced internship into the Disney Art program. While the experience at Disney was one I’ll never forget, I decided not to stay and headed back home to Indy. Realizing I wanted more than what Indianapolis had to offer, this lead me to apply for a temporary position at MTV in New York City where I stayed for 3 months working at MTV.com. That’s basically where I gained a ton of knowledge on the web, design, and marketing as a whole. Although New York is by far the most exciting city to live in, and I had every intention of staying, I’m way too much of a home body and therefore moved back home to be with family in Indianapolis once again. (Hey, you never know where you’ll end up if you don’t experience the world a little, right!?) I managed to stick with my roots of working for large companies and got on at the Finish Line Corporate Headquarters in Indianapolis working as their online marketing specialist for about 2 years. Wanting something more challenging, I ventured into ‘small business America’ and that’s how I found Hanapin. I’ve been managing PPC accounts for Hanapin for about a year now and I’m loving it!!!
