Growing the PPC Community

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I announce I am now part of the Hanapin Marketing team! My new role is Senior Account Manager, Community. Along with managing accounts, my main priority is running PPC Hero and increasing its readership. I’ll also be spending more time continuing to foster the PPCChat community.

As many of you know, I’ve been running PPCChat for just over three years. In that time, the community has taken extremely well to the weekly Twitter chat. Under the #PPCChat hashtag, the community of paid search professionals share a steady stream of their knowledge, opinions, and more. This discussion will continue uninterrupted.

This move has been a few months in the making, and has required much deliberation between Hanapin and myself. For both sides, the common goal and main initiative has been to continue growing the PPC Hero and PPCChat brands. Both brands have a great reputation, but each also possesses its own vast and unique potential. Above all else, the most important component of this relationship is our ability to continue producing great content.

PPC Hero and PPCChat will remain separate entities. Hanapin will not control PPCChat content and vice versa. There is the potential for collaboration and co-branded activities, but only for the purposes of providing better content.

I’m thrilled to join the team at Hanapin. Since I began my career in 2007, PPC Hero has been my go-to blog for everything PPC. The people here are smart and the most passionate about PPC in the industry. Simply put, I could not pass up the opportunity to both manage this blog, while also increasing my involvement with PPCChat.
