Advertising Account Executive

The I Do Society is a boutique agency made up of team members working remotely across the United States. Our work is focused exclusively on PPC channels and conversion rate optimization for lead generation. Our clients are small businesses in the wedding industry.

We are passionate and fascinated by the powerful results that can be achieved by great PPC marketing and are equally passionate about relationships with our clients. Proactively keeping our clients informed and educated is a vital part of our organization’s DNA, and we enjoy long standing relationships with them.

We are LGBTQIA+ friendly. We love the environment and are committed to sustainability as we grow.

Type of work relationship we’re looking for: Full time, working remotely.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include all aspects of client account management for a group of clients - serving as their main point of contact, building campaigns and performing conversion rate optimization on their accounts. You will:

  • Analyze existing client accounts to develop a conversion rate optimization (CRO) plan.
  • Plan, build and perform ongoing CRO in Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • Collaborate with team members on client account related issues that extend beyond their ad campaigns - such as conversion tracking set up or modification, landing page development, administrative needs, etc.
  • Interface directly with clients via email, phone and screencasts to update them on campaign performance, provide recommendations, and plan new campaigns.
  • Keep detailed records of work done, tasks completed and changes made to client campaigns.
  • Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation. Regularly sharing landscape knowledge with the team and clients.

Abilities & Certifications:

  • You have mastery level knowledge of Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • The world of PPC fascinates you, and keeping up to date with industry news and changes is exciting. You have at least 3+ years experience and are a certified Google Partner, Google Analytics certified and have earned your Facebook Blueprint certification.
  • You’re a master of CRO. Continually testing to improve conversion rates is part of your DNA, and creative CRO ideas come naturally to you.
  • You enjoy looking at analytics and metrics each day and are excited by data-driven information like multi-channel funnels and tracking Goals.
  • You have expert knowledge of landing page best practices and can provide detailed recommendations on what would make for a great user experience after the click as well.
  • You have a documented workflow/management process for routine conversion rate optimization. Being detail-oriented and organized is a natural part of who you are.
  • You are technologically inclined and you're always on the lookout for faster and more efficient ways to get things done.
  • You’re intimately familiar with consumer’s paths to conversion and have extensive experience building campaigns for different stages of the sales funnel (i.e. Awareness, Consideration, Decision). You can prove results from the campaigns you’ve built and managed.
  • You have 3+ years of experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • You have experience working with small businesses who may have small ad budgets.

Interpersonal skills & experience:

  • You’re genuinely personable, and love people. You’re able to communicate complex systems and processes to clients in easy to understand ways.
  • You’re motivated by the success of your clients. You see their needs and questions as an opportunity to make a significant difference in their business and lives.
  • You’re empathetic by nature and are able to anticipate client’s questions ahead of time. You’re proactive in communicating to the client what’s ahead and what they can expect - most often before they even ask.
  • You’re creative, have big goals both personally and professionally and have a sense of humor!
  • You’re a lifelong learner. You’re familiar with the online communities where PPC knowledge is shared and engage in conversations there on a regular basis.
  • You have a strategic approach to your work. When a campaign doesn't work out the way you wanted it to, your emotions do not impact your performance. You have the ability to map your way out of a valley and can convey confidence to clients.
  • You’re an excellent communicator. You help clients understand why a dip in CTR isn't necessarily a bad thing. You can help them understand why sending informational searches to a product page isn't going to produce many sales. You can explain the conversion rate optimization process to clients in easy to understand language.
  • You’re confident and self-driven. When a client requests a campaign strategy or change that you know is a bad idea, you have the initiative to hop on the phone with them and the confidence to explain why it might not work, and what we can do differently. Also, you’re comforting enough to not make them feel foolish in the process.
  • You are ethical & honest. You present the facts as they are and would never “spin” the data to make a client think something other than what is true. You feel great at the end of the day because you’ve been empathetic, kind and done what is right.

What you’ll get from working with The I Do Society:

  • Competitive compensation including base salary, tech reimbursement and healthcare reimbursement, paid vacation and holidays.
  • Work from anywhere (availability during regular business hours required).
  • Continual professional development from leadership that cares deeply about your growth and personal well being.
  • Expenses-paid travel to national industry marketing conferences.

  • There’s a sudden drop off in conversions tracked in a client’s ad account. Describe your process for investigating the problem, solving the problem and what you might communicate to a client about what is happening.
